Building Regulations - Part L and F
Part L of the Building Regulations covers conservation of fuel and power. Part L applies to new buildings, and other more specific types of work in existing buildings, it exists to enforce the minimum standards of energy efficiency. Part F covers means of ventilation, and is in place to maintain a good standard air quality indoors.
Part L is more frequently upgraded, more than any other part of the Building Regulations. Revised Building Regulations and Approved Documents were changed in April 2010, and were put into force from October 2010.
